I-10 Traffic Interchange at Twin Peaks
I-10 Traffic Interchange at Twin Peaks

Project Overview

The new Twin Peaks Interchange will be located on Interstate 10 (I-10) at exit 245 between the Avra Valley Road and Cortaro Road interchanges. The improvements will extend Twin Peaks Road west of the SantaCruz River, to Camino de Mañana and Linda Vista Boulevard east of I-10. The project will also incorporate an overpass at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks east of I-10. A new access road, Tiffany Loop, will be built to provide local business access on the west side of I-10.

This Project will:

  • Greatly reduce travel time in northwestern Pima County and increase safety by taking some traffic off busy streets, most notably Cortaro Road.
  • Connect to Marana’s upcoming widening and roadway improvements of Camino de Mañana, realigning the roadway north to the intersection of Tangerine Road and Dove Mountain Boulevard.
  • Unite the growing Dove Mountain community with Continental Ranch and provide easier access to I-10.
