Twin Peaks interchange will be elaborate

A reader wrote to ask for clarification on the Twin Peaks interchange, an upcoming regional transportation project in Marana. There was confusion about whether the interchange would be an overpass or a new exit from Interstate 10.
The project will be about halfway between the I-10 exits for Cortaro Farms and Avra Valley roads, said Jim DeGrood, Marana's assistant town manager.
It will include entrance and exit ramps for all directions of traffic and will go over the interstate, he said. It also will pass over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, so traffic won't have to stop for trains.
It will connect Twin Peaks Road with Linda Vista Road and Camino de Marana, DeGrood said.
